We use Merrill/Glencoe’s Geometry textbook
(published 2001). It is a traditional,
Euclidean Geometry course.
To be enrolled in this course, students must
have successfully taken Algebra 1-2.
Grades for this course will be automatically
placed on a student's high school transcript.
We will be working out of the textbook,
making classroom presentations, and doing projects on a dynamic Geometry
software program called The Geometer’s Sketchpad.
Sketchpad is loaded onto the school computers and enables students to
discover and prove geometric principles. |
