The library is open throughout the day for all to use. Some classes come each week at a particular time, many of those same classes return at other scheduled times for special projects. Students may come to the library with more than one class to work on assignments. Individual and/or small groups of students may come throughout the day to return and check out new books, work on assignments, use the computers, and conduct research.
During the lunch break, the library is usually open for "free time" activities for students; table games, browsing, reading, and visiting go on unless a class is scheduled in the library.
After school the library is open until 3:30 for student use, and is often open later, if staff do not have to leave for any meetings.
