The GMS library is open throughout the day for
all to use. Reading classes come each week at a particular time, many
of those same classes return at other scheduled times for special projects
utilizing the library laptops and Promethean Board. Those projects vary
from Language Arts PowerPoint presentations to Science Infectious Diseases
Publications and are team taught by Mr. Fish and the content teacher. Individual and/or small groups of students
may come throughout the day to return and check out new books, work on
assignments, use the computers, and conduct research. During the lunch break, the library is usually open for
"free time" activities for students; table games, browsing,
reading, and visiting go on unless a class is scheduled in the library. After school the library is open until 3:30 for student use but is not open in the morning before school starts. |
