Levels of Infractions
LEVEL 1
INFRACTIONS
(minor inappropriate behaviors)

Disregard for "paws"-itive playground behaviors
.
Misuse of equipment
.
Inappropriate language which is not directed toward another person
.
Eating or drinking on the playground at a time other than
a designated treat day
.
Purposely sliding in mud, on ice, or getting wet
Leaving the
playground, in pursuit of playground equipment, without permission
Any behavior deemed by a playground supervisor to fit
this level
LEVEL

1. Warning
Reteach expectation( s)
Redirect student by having him/her leave the selected
area of play
2 Time the student out for a maximum

LEVEL 2
Infractions

Any of the Level l behaviors after a verbal warning

Disrespect towards another student

Intentionally pegging another student with a ball or piece

LEVEL 2
CONSEQUENCES
(for socially inappropriate

1. Redirect/reteach
2 Yellow Slip
LEVEL3
INFRACTIONS
(defiance and/or
aggressive behavior directed towards self, others and/or property)
Continuation of any level 2 behaviors
Physical assault
.
Student is a danger to him/ herself or others.
.
Physical fight where there is kicking or punching involved
.
Spitting at another student
Illegal acts
. Weapons, possession of
illegal substance, vandalism, theft
. Socially inappropriate acts (sexual aggression, sexual
exposure, etc..)
.
Destruction of personal or school property
Insubordinate behavior
. Direct
and immediate refusal to comply with a reasonable
adult instruction within a specified period of
time.
Overt defiance
.
Leaving the school grounds without permission.

behavior deemed by a playground supervisor to be
at this level
LEVEL
3
CONSEQUENCES
(for defiant and/or aggressive
behavior directed toward self, others and/or property)
1. Office referral
All office referrals will result in a conference with the principal,
parent Contact by the student and the principal, and any other action deemed
necessary in the principal's judgment. The office referral will be documented in
the data base. All interventions will be recorded for the classroom teacher.
Weapons (Policy #4210
- Regulation of Dangerous Weapons on
School Premises): Students who are found in
possession of weapons on school property are subject to a on&year mandatory
expulsion, subject of appeal and notification of law officials and parents.
