Green Park Elementary School is part of the Walla Walla School District #140.
The Green Park PTA invites you to join us in making a difference in the education and quality of life for our children! We have many activities that are run and funded by our PTA volunteers. Our wonderful families generously donate their time and money to make these programs work without the need of district or school funding. In addition to helping children, joining our PTA is an outstanding way to meet other families, Mr. Lambert, our school's principal, and the rest of the Green Park staff. Please join us. We're always grateful for more helping hands.
November 2007 Green Park PTA will be holding the book fair in the 4th grade common area during the fall conferences November 5th-8th. Call Peggy Cox at 522-1947 if you would like to help. Annie Capestany has sent out flyers for those interested in helping with the food for the teachers during the conferences also. The Missoula Children’s Theater will be coming the week of March 26-30. Any student of Green Park school can try out on Monday, March 26th after school. The play this year is The Little Mermaid. The performance will be held on the evening of Friday March 30.
We are already planning for another successful school carnival which will be on May 24. Barbara Hoffman and Karen Carman are the co-chairs.
We are considering a different fundraiser for the fall. We will not have the cookie dough fundraiser. We are looking into a math-a-thon. Karene Gonzalez, Marquita Drabek and Annie Capestany will be organizing it. We will welcome any input about the cookie dough fundraiser or the proposed Math-a-thon.
Our future PTA meetings are held once a month on a Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Green Park School’s library. The dates are March 12, April 16, May 7, and June 11.
