bulletNovember 12-14 - Disease research in the computer lab.
bulletNovember 10 - Bacteria Facteria notes and vocabulary test.
bulletNovember 7 - Penicillin video - fill out an experiment planning sheet based on what the "Oxford Group" did in their experiment.
bulletNovember 6 - Read activity 52 and make a double entry diary with at least 10 entries.
bulletNovember 5 - Do the analysis questions for Activity 51.
bulletNovember 4 - Act. 51 Do activity about taking the full course of antibiotics and graph the class results.
bulletNovember 3 - Activity 49.  We will talk about vaccines and how they present disease.  Do analysis questions 1,3,4. 
bulletOctober 30-31 - Design a hand washing or hand shaking lab, perform it, and write a conclusion about it.
bulletOctober 29 - Activity 45.  Reading more about classifying organisms.  Completing a Venn Diagram as a team task with each student writing in a different color. 
bulletOctober 28 - Activity 44 "Who's Who" Looking at different microbe cards and making a Venn diagram comparing Protists, Bacteria, and Viruses.
bulletOctober 27 - Finish the analysis questions for Activity 39.  Do questions 1-5.  Add cellular respiration and photosynthesis to the content dictionary.
bulletOctober 24 - Activity 39 - Looking at yeast cells and determining if they act like people...do they "eat" food?  do they "breathe" out carbon dioxide?
bulletOctober 23 - Activity 40 A Cell Model and Analysis Questions 1,3,4.
bulletOctober 22 - Add cytoplasm, cell membrane, and nucleus to your content dictionary.  Discuss the structure and function of cells.
bulletOctober 21 - We are skipping ahead to Activity 42 "A Closer Look".  You need to do all of the stopping to think questions and draw a picture of an animal cell.
bulletOctober 20 - Cheek cell and Amoeba drawings.  Make a Venn Diagram using your observations of the onion, cheek, and amoeba.

bulletSeptember 10 - Make a Venn Diagram about wet ice/dry ice and write 10 questions that you have about dry ice.

bulletSeptember 5 - Write the conclusion for the bubble gum experiment.
