PINK DAY
The latest and greatest from PALS is that they are organizing a Pink Day on Friday, May 18. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, May 16-18, 8:00-8:30 (Library) - We will be in the Library during those times to sell raffle tickets (25 cents a piece). We have also put together a short presentation on how to show empathy for a friend dealing with a tough time (such as a family member with cancer). Visit our Face book page for more info!
Friday Dance Party
Blanket Drive
The PALS Blanket Drive was a huge success they collected more than enough blankets to completely cover the gym floor.
They collected new and clean, gently used blankets to donate to Helpline.
These will then be distributed locally to help families in need. cover our gym floor, The students held have a 'dance party' in the gym to celebrate. Thank you for your support in this great community effort!
Veterans' Day
PALS designed a PowerPoint Presentation for our Veteran's Day assembly and
helped student make paper poppies .

Blue Day
PALS organized a wear "BLUE DAY" on October 12th to increase awareness about
Arthritis and to celebrate World Arthritis Day. The Blue Team created signs,
sent home flyers, and made
announcements encouraging students to participate. There are over 100+ forms of
arthritis and there are almost 300,000 kids in the United States have juvenile
arthritis. Arthritis impacts lives of so many friends and family members - and
the students wanted to increase awareness about the disease. Blue is the color
for arthritis.

Food Drive for Animals
P.A.L.S collected over 1,000 pounds of cat and dog food in two weeks for the animal shelter!
the PALS Pink Crew
The PALS Pink Crew held a Breast
Cancer Awareness day on Monday, October 11th. They made
announcements and put up posters. The whole school was
encouraged to wear pink for that day.
We have many students that have been (and are currently being)
effected by breast cancer, and this was a way to let these
students know our school is behind them! Thanks for supporting
this!
